Saying Goodbye To Badger: An All-Ages All-Souls Day Exploration of Life, Death & Remembrance
What do we do when someone we love dies? How do we remember them? And where does hope and love fit into our grief?
Join us for a playful, imaginative, and meaningful intergenerational journey as we create a memorial for a beloved woodland creature. Together, we’ll explore feelings of loss, the ways we remember those we love, and the rituals that help us say goodbye.
This is not a children’s program - it’s an experience for all ages. Children, teens, adults, grandparents, parents, and friends are all invited to participate. We’ll be doing, creating, reflecting, and remembering together, with something meaningful for everyone.
Along the way, children can explore the complex feelings that surround loss and discover a toolbox of ways to cope, comfort, and find support. Adults may find space to reflect on their own experiences of loss and grief – and we can all discover something about the way rituals, remembrance, love and community can help us through times of sadness.
And, yes, there will be treats!
